On the headland above Putty Beach, phase one of our stunning Whyte Project extension and renovation is now complete – and the results speak for themselves. The BBM team transformed an old 1970s dwelling into a contemporary yet fully functional family home. We gutted, extended, and transformed the original dwelling with a new kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and music room, plus a central high-ceiling living/dining area featuring stunning custom blackbutt stairs, seating, and balustrades, sectioned off as required with a cavity sliding timber partition wall and high window. Phase two including pool and pool house set to be complete by December 2026.

BBM transformed our old, quirky and somewhat dilapidated 1975 home into a beautifully revived and thoughtfully designed space. The quality of the build, attention to detail and pride in workmanship is evident throughout. From the very beginning, Brent and his team treated our home as more than just another building project. They listened, collaborated and genuinely cared about the end result.
What really sets Brent apart is his contagious enthusiasm, humour, boundless energy and creative flair – something that is surprisingly rare to find in a builder. There were countless brainstorming sessions throughout the build, and Brent and his team were always open to my ideas, willing to discuss what was possible and genuinely committed to finding a way to bring the dream to life. And wow, did they deliver!
A special mention must go to Frank, one of Brent’s senior carpenters. His craftsmanship, particularly his beautiful timber work, is remarkable. Frank is incredibly talented and takes genuine pride in creating something beautiful.
Thank you, Brent and the entire BBM team. We genuinely can’t believe we get to live here! We couldn’t be happier with what you’ve created for us.
